109 prop pitch gauge going in increments

I noticed in a single player mission that the ""Luftschraubenverstelluhr", the propeller pitch gauge, is now moving from tick-mark to tick-mark in increments and not smoothly anymore like it used to do (and should do). Now it looks more like in the old Il-2 1946 (not quite as pronounced, though)...
This happens in automatic mode and in manual mode.
Is it supposed to work that way now?
If so, for me that is a definite step in the wrong direction, making the sim experience less realistic (along with the incrementally moving radiator wheel, by the way).

Well, that said, keep up the work, we're really glad, with TF 5.0, you strive to give us the most realistic sim there is and we're really looking forward to it.

Re: 109 prop pitch gauge going in increments

    Hi daHeld,

I fly the -110 and have always observed that the pitch in SP mode is a lot less smooth than when flying in MP. I'm not sure why that is though.

Maybe see how it looks in MP to see if you have the same experience as i do - wont fix the issue for you though but might be a useful data point for the TF5 fixers to check out perhaps?

It has been like this for me in single player for ages in the 109.
Not sure why but I spent more time in MP than SP so did not bother me to much.

    I see.
I'll try it in MP, then.
    Will report back.

    All the best

Took me a while, but yes, it is only obvious in single player.
But since normally the huge majority of buyers are single-player only guys, they should fix it.
And the radiator handle that goes in increments now, which looks very weird.

    All the best

Re: 109 prop pitch gauge going in increments

Give a look at this in Single Player - Quick missions, there propeller gauge animation (for Bf 109 E-1, E-3, E-4, Bf 110 and Ju 88) seems normal - increase/decrease animation of instrument needles is gently without "steeps".

But in Single Player - Single Missions, the small needle moves more like a clock seconds pointer, in small "steeps".

A thing weird is that in Ju 88 the propeller pitch switches in down position (Feathering) when in neutral, moves for middle for decrease, and all up for increase.
