That looks really fantastic, Scones!
One small editing note: the mixture lever (3) auto-rich position is fully back, not fully forward.
Here's a more full explanation: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...l=1#post193803
I am going to "sticky" this thread - it will be invaluable to new (and experienced) players.

Excellent stuff Sconsey, thank you and well done.
It must have taken you some time to put it together?

That's nice work mate! Funnily enough I'd recently been musing on the idea of creating something like this for the 109. Anything we can do to aid the new players helps. I know for damned sure I'd have found them useful!
Hi Pans,
Our team putting together the manuals for 5.0 have been discussing this form of visual aid to be included.
Sconesy's effort had landed on our laps. Good timing I say!

Great effort and looks really good!
Come on, join the club, as Pattle already suggested.
I think you should put 'Open Fuel Cock' to the first section about starting the engine already.
For the starting proceedure it would be nice to add that throttle should be opened to about 10% before pressing 'I' and opened further to about 20 % after the engine caught on.
Why bother with mixture at all? You never need it.

Where is a control for Airscrew in the Control Options?
Thanks.
Hi Sabrefly......if you look at ATAG_Scones excellent cockpit flashcard at the top of this Forum page you will see that the propellor pitch is controlled by the lever to the right of the throttle. (Numbered 4 in Sconesey's diagram) I always move this lever to reduce prop pitch after take off down to about 80% in the Mark 2 Spitfire. But you probably know this.
You may want to bind a key to the prop pitch, so......in Game, go to: Options....Controls....in 'Controls Options' select Keys (not axis) Category 'Aircraft.'
Then, scroll down about half way. You will see 'Propellor pitch 10%'.....Propellor pitch 20%...and so on, until under 'Propellor pitch 100%' you will see:
'Decrease Propellor Pitch'....I have bound the Key 'Z' to this....works for me! Also:
'Increase Propellor Pitch'.....I have bound 'S' to this......again it works for me when flying the Blenheim but also the 109 variants and others.
I mostly move the cockpit lever for propellor pitch in the Mk 1 and Mk II Spitfires because I like the immersion of working 'in the office' If you want to 'wing up' for a quick familiarity flight (though you sound as if you're getting on very well) don't hesitate to let me know by posting here...and we can fix up a time! In the meantime, I hope this helps and.....stay safe....... and have fun! Salute!
In my opinion, Throttle, Radiator Shutter and Propeller Pitch should all be assigned to an AXIS. This allows you to "Feel" where these critical controls are currently set with your hands.

I didn't know Propeller pitch lever was Airscrew
Thanks!
Sabrefly…
Your computer only has to fly CLoD. It doesn't have to design, build, evaluate and market it!
