How important is GeForce Experience installation for CoD ?

    Hi,
I have just updated my graphics driver for the GTX970 to the latest 430.86 from 372.90 which has been working fine, simply to try and solve why a CAD prog refuses to run. Install has option of GeForce Experience which supposedly will automatically tweak settings for maximum game experience for a load of games it has in its library. Has it CoD I wonder ?

Does anyone know has it CoD in its list of games to choose ?

If so did it make a difference ? I fly with everything at max and no problems, EXCEPT FOR ripples in the sand effect on side of aircraft when paused and rotated for photos. Is this CoD or GeForce card and will GeForce Experience make a difference ?

I have posted a thread on this at https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...198#post327198

However after update driver and launch Geforce experience I get error 0x0003 and googling it so do others. so put on previous driver, still error 0x0003.

so uninstall GeForce Experience as I am not meddling about with settings that are suggested that work for some but not others, when all was fine before just cos Nvidia cant release a stable app.

But do we need it, will it fix ripples etc. ?

GeForce Experience doesn't know about CLOD, so won't make any difference. I do use it though, for ShadowPlay (video capture).

    What he said.

I use it for a variety of other games for the "recomended settings" and then mess about with then from that reference point.

Works very well in my experience. And like Kendy says... it's good for shadowplay and screenshot capture.

    Hi,
Thanks, no great need then to install it, for screen capture I installed OBS but I cant seem to get on with OBS as it wont do a region easily, so I am dusting off my Snagit licence.
Apparently region capture is not v untuitive at all or easy to set up in OBS folk say, I have to agree, having spent half a day and got nowhere.
