    Twist "brake lever" (virtual).

Using VKB Gladiator Mk.II (vanilla) + T-Rudder, have a unused twist axis (with MaRS contactless sensor), so in VKB DevCFG hide for Windows and Games the twist axis and create a virtual axis "Slider 1" activated by movement of center to left of twist axis.

Edit - A more simple way for have a 'twist brake lever in VKB joysticks (any with twist axis), without need of create a new virtual axes.
Just change the parameter 1 to 2 for twist axis (# 3 - Rot X) for the axis became a full 0 100% with just twist left.

Tested with success in IL-2 CloD for "Wheel brakes" - for British and Italian planes, and in IL-2:GB (BoS e cia) for any plane.

For another brand of joystick with twist, since IL-2:GB "less options is better" rule only allow set an axis deadzone in maximum 25% result in wheel brakes partially activated.

In Clod and DCS is just matter of use "deadzone 100%" and "saturation" adjusts, both in ~50%.

But for have a solution for all games, use DView (an ancient calibration tool of Logitech, compatible with any joystick), setting the axis using only 50% (512) of joystick raw input (1024).

This "virtual brake lever" work too for Thrustmaster TWCS throttle paddle lever.
