    Logitech G940

Hi all, is anyone else using this stick and if so how do you find it goes?
I bought one second hand and replaced an MS FFB 2 and although I like the stick itself I am not sure it feels right, maybe settings need to be tweaked.
Is there a way to save and load joystick profiles for a specific stick like this?

    Thanks in advance.

I have one and am using it - after I modded it.

Make sure you flash the latest firmware (G940_Update_FW0142) because of the infamous "reversal bug" That at least fixes it on the stick x and y axis, but not on any other axis, renders the almost useless.

Sadly it's discontinued and was never truly fixed.

That is why you have to mod it.

I have one. I think it is a good stick, the FFB is good but yes, tweak it to your liking.

I had to take the throttle apart and solder the axis on the front part, it would spike anytime the throttle would move, because the wires weren't long enough.

As far as profiles... are you talking CloD only? For CloD I use the in game controls to map things. Other games I use the Logitech software and it works good, with three modes you a have ton of buttons.

Have one here in a box

All in all not a bad stick, but it has it's "issues"
I think my biggest complaint was the large mechanical center deadzone before hitting the FFB

I also had a program with it that could change the lights (colors and timing, only on the stick though, no communication with any games itself) but alas, it disappeared
I believe the Author of that program was a guy called MikiOwl -or something similar

I use it, and this is probably the best of the joysticks that I had!

    I upgraded it a bit.
