    War Emergency Power (Notleisting) Bf109E

I use this extra power assigned to keyboard. Max ata goes from 1.3 to 1.4 and is automatically turned off after 1 minute.
In reality this max ata of 1.4 was reached by pushing throttle to full power and not by pushing a button and was not automatically turned off. This was also wrong in IL-2 '46, so it seems to be a legacy.

This will also have impact on the upcoming E-7, F-2 and F-4

Is there a possibility to get this corrected in TFS 5.0?

The WEP on early 109s was linked to a clockwork mechanism that automatically forced the throttle back to Steig-/Kampfleistung after 1min. This mechanism was eliminted on the Friedrich and onwards. As such this is historically correct for the aircraft depicted in the current theater and timeframe.

In real Bf 109 E there's no external "WEP" button, but is the throttle lever that control emergency power when moved momentarily* from "Volast" to Abflug".
*A spring move the lever back for "Volast".

A timer mechanism disengage the extra power after 1 minute, in later models (F, G...) this timer was removed and pilot should retard throttle for avoid damage engine.

What is wrong in CloD is the need of press a button/key, if the command "Throttle War Emergency Power" was implemented correctly - assignable in a axis band like "afterburner" in Falcon 4.0, you could just set a 100% throttle position (what is possible actually), and when move throttle ahead this position the "WEP" is engaged.

In IL-2 Great Battles Bf 109 F, G this extra power control is better modeled, you just use throttle lever for control emergency power = throttle "100%" WEP engaged.
But on the other hand in that game extra power is wrong modeled for Spitfire Mk.V, a "magical" WEP" move the limiter tab and increase power in any throttle position, what not happens in real plane.

It may be wrong but keeps the player from accidentally triggering the 1min timer which can be critical because the timer in CloD cannot be stopped manually and once the minute has ended there is a "cooldown" period before WEP can be used again.

Looking at the throttle lever in this picture there is a lot of space (~45°) between 100% (Vollast) and WEP (Abflug), should avoid pilot error.
Thanks for the input guys, could not find anything on the internet.
