Collings Foundation B-17 'Nine O Nine' just crashed at Bradley Airport (Hartford, CT)

    https://www.courant.com/breaking-new...diu-story.html

13 people on board (10 people going for a paid ride, 2 pilots and an employee) and 1 on the ground. So far 7 fatalities, 9 injuries reported. Apparently while taking off it did not have full power and crashed while trying to land.

My son and I were just on that plane 2 weeks ago..very sad. From the few pics available it looks like it may be a total loss of the aircraft.

No worries Snapper. Very sad news..all of this is about 15 minutes north of where I work. My son and I have seen and been inside that bomber several times over the years. Sorry to hear there are now fatalities being reported. Judging by the pictures I've seen reported on local news its a miracle anyone survived.
