Definitely landed short after initially reporting 1 engine out and requesting RTB (No,4)

By rights a B-17 should comfortably fly anywhere with 1 engine out, so clearly more needs to be understood about the accident.
re the Collings Foundation, taken before it was known there were fatalities.
RIP, very sad loss of life, something went very wrong here.
