    Greetings from Texas

Hello to all from a new member in Texas, USA. Been reigniting my old love for flight sims after years of focus on sim racing. Have been away since the days of EAW, CFS1, and Jane's WWII Fighters. How amazed I have been at how far the sims, hardware, controllers, and community have come since then. Looking forward to learning from all of you and enjoying the creations of the dedicated and talented modders and simmers in this hobby.

    Hello manashttu

Welcome to the ATAG forum and to Cliffs of Dover Blitz.

This community is one of the best you will find on the net. We all have a love for Combat Flight Simming and this awesome simulator.

It is always great when a simmer returns and you have returned at a particularly good time. Check out all the WIP videos and screenshots from Team Fusion Simulations sowing the work on TFS 5.0. The Western Desert is coming and with it a whole bunch of new aircraft.

If you need help or have any questions you can ask here in the forum, check out the 'Beginners Guide' on the main forum page. Team Speak is also good. Join the ATAG Channel and ask any of the pilots on there. You will find everyone is willing to help and are very friendly.

If you haven't given multiplayer a go yet then give it a go. Jump onto the ATAG Allies v Axis server and say 'Hi' to those already flying. You will feel right at home.

I hope to see you flying online very soon and once again welcome.

    Re: Greetings from Texas

Hi manashttu....and another very big welcome to the ATAG server and Forums.

My good friend ATAG Vampire has just about said it all above and I'm sure we all thoroughly endorse what he says...particularly about this being an awesome, friendly Community, which has many exciting new additions in the sim to look forward too. I remember flying the P38 Lightning in Jane's fighters and the P47 against those wicked neublewaffers. I thought that sim was pretty good for it's time but CLoD is 'something else!' I'm sure you were amazed when you rediscovered the sim!

Have fun and, as Vampire says, do ask for help or post any problems/questions on this Forum. There are many talented pilots here who will be only too pleased to help you out.

I hope we get to meet in the CLoD Skies soon. Good luck and ......Salute!
