    Raid on Tobruk !!

Team Fusion Simulations first full battle footage from our upcoming North African Campaign.

Shown from the viewpoints of the Luftwaffe, RAF, ground and sea units.

Dive bombing, ground attacks, air to air combat, in a packed showcase of TFS 5.0.

    Improvements in upcoming updates:

Damage modelling is undergoing a wholesale revision, which will see aircraft being tougher than seen in this video.

AI humans will man ground assets in later updates.

Please like, comment and share on YouTube.

And add your comments here of course.

    Cheers,

    Pete

Nice, really like how you combine still shots with slo-mo video - depicting details which you could miss, and also the changes in perspective. We get to see the air-war from the "quiet" perspective of the soldier on the ground, or a far away observer.

One must wonder what Stuka pilots felt when they saw fighters preparing to engage them.

The double zoom in at the end is my way of depicting that pilots physical reaction to your last comment - eye's wide open, and the simple thought of oh no!! or similar...

Yes, I liked that. I also like how the Spitfires are all climbing above the Stuka like a tidal-wave ready to engulf them.

So many little hidden gems in there! I've watched it like 3 times! Top notch shooting by the way! The shot on the Stukas tail as it climbed in front of you was awesome! The shot of the pilot landing quietly in the foreground..with the battle raging in the background was a neat perspective. Ground and Ship explosions look really good. Nice concussion rings with debris and smoke. Feels like it's all starting to merge together! Can't wait to see more! This is awesome! Thank you TFS!

I noticed that in video when Ju87 starts dive to the target the sirenes not working.
    Whhhyyyyy???!!!
It's very symbolic when Stukas dive with roaring sirens.

    I can be wrong
But I think you can decide if those sirens sound or not

I think there is a command to activate that sound.

    Dont ask me why

But there are some general shots with a sinking ship that looked like a damn movie.

In 4.57 sirens is automatically switched on when air brakes are extended. That is why I'm asking...

Yes it still automatically comes on when you extend the brakes. It goes off once you raise them.

Yep, that's why I'm asking. In this moment of the video (2:19) the stuka is diving and no any sirens until bombs start falling. I see that the air brakes are extended and no roaring siren.

    Re: Raid on Tobruk !!

    you're right sir rostic

Perhaps there are still many details to be polished

If you look here, it seems the same moment from the cabin and if the sirens

    Maybe the problem is editing?

    https://youtu.be/UcwdJWvaQsc?t=242

    EDIT:
Maybe it's something to comment on when Beta tests begin

I agree with all of the positive comments already made, in spades. However, the Stukas, in the first minute or so, look kind of plastic. They look like they had been washed and waxed just before takeoff. Maybe the textures could be roughed up a bit?

    Sorry, just joking.
I think in a previous video some people complained thet the 'washed out, and faded'effecton the planes was overdone.
I'm sure 5.0 will allow the individual weathering effect just as the current version does.

The amount of weathering is still up to the player.

One feature that really stands out as ugly in all this is the horrendous banding in the sky box. Has TFS been able to make any progress with this because by today's standards that really is an awful distraction, especially as we spend so much time in the sky, it almost looks like the old days of 8-bit gaming
