Desperately seeking help with the Stuka
Can somebody assist with settings RPM, water temp/rad settings, oil temp/rad settings please? I don't want to be the weakest link if I can help it, lol.
Thanks
Jerry.

Do not fear the Stuka, it is a very easy airplane to fly.
Simplest case: keep your dials RPM (pitch up/down key) and ATA (throttle) pointing at 12:00, and both radiators fully open, at all times. You can of course fine-tune later, but this is set once and forget setup.
You need to bind keys to arm your bombs, to open and close airbrakes (for dive bombing), and to release bombs.

OK, managed to fly her across the channel without getting orange goo all over the windshield. Thanks guys. Did get shot in the face by bofors, but an overall win I guess, lol.

Next time go back and drop some HE down the barrel of that gun. Dive bombing with the contact altimeter and automatic recovery is one hell of a rush. I'll say one thing for the Stuka; the guys who flew it against hot targets had some pretty big spuds.
Good fun as usual on ATAG.
Thanks to all that participate in these events.
The Axis Stukas were just minutes from finishing the last target. Unfortunately, the server crashed after being stable at 86 for over an hour.
Just when my last bombs blew up the target...
A beaufighter appeared five seconds later
Flying into my gunsight
Then as he passed and damaged me, the server blew, and the beaufighter turned on warp speed into space.
The last time a tiny glance of beaufighter seen
Thanks for your comradeship tonight guys on my first big event. Sorry I had to leave after just one hour but duty called elsewhere. Managed to get my Stuka up after being delayed by the early server crash so I was playing catch-up with the rest of the my comrades. By luck, and cutting some big corners I arrived over the target just as the rest of the squadron were dropping their bombs so I was able to add my contribution to inferno below. I also managed to return to Wissant at wave top height with the survivors.
Thanks once again chaps for making me so welcome and hope to join you again soon.

Sounds like a great time!
Unfourtunately I was unable to attend due to seeing off a mate.
Should be there on the thin red line next time though
Sounds like you fellows did alright!
Again great fun guys thank you very much for organising it!
Just some things noted in the case they could be of help to get rid of the server crashes ( My impression is that there was something not working as planned with the missions scripts but it just a guess ):
- At a certain point in the mission I have respawned at Pihen airfield and my Bf 110 C-4/N was spawned ( made several attempts, always the same result ) without the gunsight. The gunsight became visible only when zooming the view. After several attempts I've spawned at Oye Plage and everything worked as per normal.
- At a certain point, while being in the rear gunner position, I have pressed by accident two times the ALT+F2 keys ( intended was just one to back in the pilot position ) so I've left the aircraft while I was in flight at low level. The aircraft immediately crashed and I was credited instantly with 2 kills suffered like if I was still in the plane.
- We were still about 40-50 players around and AI raids became available when, if I remember correctly, they should be not available with such numbers of players online

Thanks once again to DRock and other organizers, great fun and well done to all who took part.
Another great night of fun.
The first time I have flown blue online in a long time. Made a change having JG52 for company and not end up with a black screen.

Salute all, great fun last night as always. Well done to our bombers on getting through to hit targets and putting them out of action so quickly. Shame the server crashed just as the map was about to flip.
Great to see so many on the server
and was a pleasure to escort Noofys bomber group

Before I had to leave, the stukas had only managed to knock over a few trash bins at manston and canterbury.
The RAF created quite an effective defensive screen. So good that just as in the actual battle, the luftwaffe gave up on their stukas and opted for some better bombers lol.
Good fun
It was a good show!
I decided to go lone wolf, taking off from Littlestone in a Hurricane.
Climbed to about 18K, flew around near English point, on economic settings, looking around, observing radar messages.
After quite a while, Radar showed AX26 as area of action, so I ventured North.
Flak was up there, but all a/c I saw were friendlies.
Much lower, a flight of Stuka's came in from the East, attacking Manston. Took some shots at a diving Stuka, I may have hit it with my wing, as my left aileron was suddenly missing.
Next, low over Manston, there was a lot of action, but basically, all aircraft I managed to get close to were Spitfires or Hurricanes. There were some that got close to me and fired at my Hurricane, those were 109's for sure, doing some more damage.
All way too dangerous for me, so decided to limp home. Hawkinge appeared to be fine and empty, so touched down there. But at the roll out, I simply blew up. Boom, and a pile of heap on fire was all that was left of me. Maybe I ran into someone? If so, my apologies, it all looked empty on approach... (that happened at 22:10 GMT)
All in all, a flight of one hour for me. I liked it a lot Thanks!
That was great fun!
Big thank you to DRock, all the organizers, flight leaders, and all the participants.
Our flight leader was Wukits and what great fun we had trying to break through Red's defences. It was a real blast!
Thanks Wukits - you are one awesome flight leader!

I loved the defense Red managed to put up. I gotta say I am use to it being a cakewalk on blue. It was a real struggle getting bombers to target.
Even after the server crashes, and the official/unofficial end to the map, we made 8 attempts on Cantibury with a group of 4 and often had to drop our bombs to defend and engage trying to protect ourselves.
Did anyone bring the main theme by Ron Goodwin?
