    In 1965, I served with an airman who grew up in, and enlisted from Phoenix, AZ because he wanted to go somewhere to experience snow. Well, wouldn't you know it... USAF assigned him to Luke AFB, AZ (Near Phoenix) along with the rest of us following munitions maintenance technical school. Jerry was disappointed, but the Air Force knew something the rest of us didn't... It snowed Two inches in Phoenix that winter. Be careful what you ask for!
