For the bomber boys - The new Honeycomb Yoke

Mine arrived today. I've had the Saitek Cessna and CH Products yokes, and this yoke blows them out of the park.

Incredible feel. Just nailed a bomber landing first go.

Bring on the Wellington I say!

That looks extremely interesting Pat. Looks ideal for bomber flying. The build quality looks good.

Just had a look online and it is going for £239.99 on Amazon UK.

Me thinks a raid on the 'piggy bank' may be forthcoming.

Re: For the bomber boys - The new Honeycomb Yoke

This year I figured I'd get myself a Christmas present, and purchased one.
Picked it up 10 days ago.

Have been flying the P-38 in Bodenplatte with it and it has been a great addition to my peripherals.
Totally different from using a stick of course, but it has a wonderful feel to it and adds a great deal to the immersion.

Highly recommend it to those flying the Beau or bombers

(Also changed from a monitor to a 55" tv at the same time and and loving that as well.)

Also that's a very nice microphone...I'm kind of stupid when it comes to hardware like that

JackMaXX, my eyeballs are presently about 50" from the screen, but i am going to be moving into my new flying room and then will be setting things up and experimenting with various distances to the screen etc. At the moment it is all just thrown together.

Having said that, the distance feels about right. Hopefully will have a better idea in a couple of weeks. I know that Baffin has spent a lot of time setting up his tv, so he could probably give some sound advice.
