Awesome !! Thanks a lot Bonditaria !!! Good work !!!
We are not a First Person Shooter... We are a Flight Simulation.
We are working to improve the vehicles/ships and to add better ground figures, but this is not our priority.
We have already done humans in desert uniforms... this is not yet in the Alpha.
From the air, in the cockpit, there is not a need to create ultra realistic ground figures.

TBH this was never meant to be ultra realistic humans in CLOD. It was more to bring up the issue with placing them in the FMB. For people that want to make realistic screenshots / movies or missions. I brought up animating a few characters as something I would like to try in my spare time if possible. If it's not possible to do or something TFS has not use for or not interested in then I won't bring it up anymore. I just know that I'm not the only one that would love to see some of them walking/ running or simple tasks. We all realize this isn't a first person shooter and not expecting this to be. Glad to hear they are getting some desert unis..Now back to testing for me. Thanks Bondi and Peinior for sorting out the humans so that we can see the difrent poses so that we can use them better right now.
Cheers

Flak37_driver2 is determined...
I like how the driver of the Fiat has his legs up and crossed....
They don't look happy Fritz or Tommy .... you would think there was a war going on or something
I didn‘t mentioned before, but yes, humans are rare in our sim. No groundcrew or moving vans through the airfield... no jumping fellows under attack... Please dont misunderstand me. I do not prefer an cineastic storyboard like in Medal of Honour or that bloody stuff. But, sometimes a sign, that somewhere, somebody, will do ore move anything... after Spawning, would help, to feel more “in Scene“.
Your „Actors“ are welcome, Bondi.
Great work,
cheers Dostal

There are ground crew vehicles in TWC Mission Server. You're welcome to jump in that server any time and give them a checkout.
They drive up to the aircraft, service it, and then drive off when you're ready to take off.
Also when you land they drive up and service your plane, then drive off.
If you crash they'll send the fire truck and the ambulance. If it's a bad crash it actually collects quite a group of vehicles--enough to close the airport for a while while they clean up, just as it would in real life.
If you land in enemy territory the MPs come to get you and take you prisoner.
Etc.
I mention this because after going to a bunch of trouble to get all this working properly, I heard nothing but whining and crying from everyone in the server.
"That vehicle crashed into me and killed me and I wasn't expecting it!"
Yeah, dumb$$$, you were taxiing around the airport without looking and crashed straight into it, because you're not used to looking around the airport before moving--as every single pilot in real life must do.
Or, you took off cross-airport, not on a runway--again without bothering to LOOK OUT along your take-off path before doing so--and crashed straight into a service vehicle who was doing exactly what service vehicles normally do.
"I was flying a Spitfire and you can't see over the nose!"
Yes, exactly as every real-life Spitfire or other taildragger pilot. You have to zig-zag taxi so you you can see what is in front of you. That is exactly what they really did. You can do it, too.
You can't just plow around the airport without knowing what is straight in front of you, or you will in fact crash into things.
It's not rocket science and dealing with the visibility issues is in fact quite realistic.
Anyway, the complaints were so fierce we haven't included the service vehicles in any later missions.
God forbid we have realistic ground traffic at airports.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in including this feature in any missions, they are more than welcome to. It should work fine in both online & offline missions. It is almost, but not quite, plug & play.
