Full list of TFS 5.0 aircraft

TFS 5.0 - New Flyable Aircraft

Work is well underway in the completion of all new aircraft being introduced to TFS 5.0, the highly anticipated expansion of IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz.

Whilst the new North Africa map is generating much excitement and deservedly so, the sheer amount of new flyable aircraft, whether totally new, or new tropical variants to existing Cliffs aircraft that historically took part in the North African theatre has previously not been stated in one announcement.

    This is that announcement!

@Rostic, that was a typo, no Blenny I.

@MP, the waist positions won't be player controlled positions.

All us bomber pilots say '"Super, smashing great"!

Vickers Wellington Mk1c. OJ-F P2517 'F for Freddie' of No.149 Squadron, star of 'Target for Tonight' directed by Harry Watt released in July 1941.

Freddy prepares for an air test prior to departure from Ford on ops with No.149 Squadron for a daring daylight attack on Marshalling Yards in Caen France 31\1|21. ATAG Operation Milk Run. Target destroyed. Six Wellingtons, One Blenheim together with
their Spitfire escort returned safely. One Wellington crashed on landing at Ford.

    Le Capitaine Jean-Claude Snarglepousseur.
    Celui qui "snarglepousse" ses adversaires.
    Lesquels se font donc "snarglepousser".

    Conjugaison au temps présent:

    je snarglepousse
    tu snarglepousses
    il/elle snarglepousse
    nous snarglepoussons
    vous snarglepoussez
    ils/elles snarglepoussent

Would that do, or would you also like le passé simple (the past historic), le passé antérieur (the anterior past), le passé composé (the simple past), l’imparfait (the imperfect), le passé récent (the recent past), le plus-que-parfait (the past perfect), le futur proche (the near future), le futur simple (the future simple) and le futur antérieur (the future perfect)?

What about the various imperative forms? Subjonctif? Conditionnel?

Merci mon ami that will do nicely for now.
Is it 17 verb tenses and moods that the romance languages have?
Been a few days since I was in school. Still....never stop learning they say.

For my part I think we anglophones have it easier:

    Present Simple....I snargle 109s.
    Past Simple....I snargled a 109.
    Future Simple....I will snargle a 109.
    Present Perfect....I have snargled a 109.
    Past Perfect....I had snargled a 109.
    Future Perfect....I will have snargled a 109.
    Present Continuous....I am snargling 109s.
    Past Continuous....I was snargling 109s...

    Snargle
Very bad slurring of words, sometimes even creating new words that make perfect sense to you but not to anyone else. This phenomenon is cause by drinking vast quantities of alcohol. Rum produces the best snarggling

Re: Full list of TFS 5.0 aircraft

    Hello Everyone.

Impressive list. I a few minor questions

    1. I asked this in a discord channel, but no one really answered. The "71" planes seems like minor variants of the same plane. Is there limitations with the game engine that prevent choosing different modifications?
2/ 3. I recently started a new group, JG 77. They fought in North Africa, but they used the "G" series tropical models. My questions; Is this the early war in North Africa? Do you plan on extending the time- frame?

    Thanks for your attention!

They are not minor variants or they would not be included.

All the different models included were based on the historical usage and whether they made a difference to the aircraft performance and the tactical situation.

Some models were also specific to the desert or specific to the Channel map.

So for example, the Spit VA was the first of the V models introduced, in February 1941 and was not replaced by the VB for 4 months.... a period which was important.

The inclusion of all these different models allows Campaign builders to show the ebb and flow of technical advantage in the war in the air.

The Bf-109G-2 did not arrive in N Africa till September of 1942 and is not in TF 5.0.

TF 5.0 covers the time period of December 1940 - June 1942 on the Tobruk map and from October 1940 to August 1941 on the Channel map.

    Thanks for the response....
I did neglect to ask one question... What is the difference between the Tropical version and the "regular" version of the a/c. I try ti look it up but I was not able to find an answer.

Would a future version of the game go beyond the current time frame currently underdevelopment?

Tropical version of aircraft usually have sand/dust filters that reduce engine performance
    e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawker...icane_IIB_Trop.

Thank you. All I could find on the 109 variant page was that it was "tropcalized."
I figured it was some sort of "dust" filter and/or special coolant.
