Hi poldark and welcome to the forum.
The joystick I use and recommend is the Thrustmaster TM16000. It’s sturdy, reliable, precise in its tracking - its X and Y axis use Hall Sensors (magnets) as opposed to potentiometers, so there is no spiking/jitter. There is also a built in throttle (or prop pitch) control and a twist-axis rudder control. The stick and its base have enough buttons (including a hat switch) to assign to a number of cockpit controls and weapons. The price is very reasonable in view of its features and build quality.
Good luck!

I use a Thrust master T Flight Hotas. I have used it for many years it it is solid, comfortable to use and has plenty of button combinations for Blitz. Still going strong after nearly ten years, and the latest version is under £100. I have a considered getting a fancier more expensive model but after looking at reviews I am sticking with my trusty TFlight.

Hi Poldark, and welcome,
Another joystick you might like to consider is the trusty old Microsoft sidewinder 2 , with or without FFB.
These joysticks are no longer in production, but they are very good and many here use them, including me.
Ebay is the place to look, you can pick them up quite cheaply, oh, and you might like to look at getting some kind of head tracking device as this will be a massive help.
Most here use Track IR, but this is expensive. Also consider Track hat or ed tracker.

Hi poldart.
I have a Thrustmaster T flight that I used for years and enjoyed.
Not sure where you live. I live in canada and if you'll cover the shipping I would be happy to send it to you.
Of course if you live in another country (that's probably not as nice) it might not be worth it due to cost.
Happy to look into the cost of shipping.

Welcome Poldark.
I have the Warthog, Microsoft FFB, and when flying bombers use the Honeycomb yoke.
All great.
Cheers,
Pattle
