    Memphis Belle beautifully restored!

Just come across this fascinating vid on You Tube. It looks like a very interesting and tasteful museum and a beautifully restored aircraft. If only I lived in America......has anyone visited this museum? I think it's in Memphis, Tennessee......?

    Thanks Flak Boss!

It was great fun flying with you the other week. Sorry I haven't beeen able to fly much recently. It's because of all the new work that is being done, trying to help TFS completing the next very exciting stage of Cliffs of Dover. I'll try and get a sortie or two in during the next week and will look out for you! Glad to see you are enjoying the servers! Salute!

Actually it is in Dayton, Ohio.

My son and I have been to this museum, the National Museum of the USAF, a few times and spent three days going through it each time.
It is a very special place.
Only a six hour drive for us (depending on the border crossing).
Unfortunately we haven't been for a few years, but hopefully this year.

    Re: Memphis Belle beautifully restored!

Hi FLAKBOSS......right up until yesterday I was on course to fly the 'ATAG Assault' tonight but then I was offered 4 tickets for a Pink Floyd Tribute Band, who are straight out of the West End so a bunch of my friends and I are going tonight! Can't pass up a chance to have a free night of Rock n' Roll! I hope the Assault Event goes well and I'm sorry to miss out yet again.

Saturday night is a tricky night for us......normally family stuff going on....but I will be flying tomorrow sometime and hopefully next week. I'll be looking out for you. My wife is from Ilkley so I'm all in favour of Yorkshire folk! Good luck for tonight! Salute!
