    ANGELS 2640.

The modeling of this game never ceases to amaze me.

    Re: Flat Earth?

Joke apart, I have a technical question:

This happened yesterday after the DD server crashed for some reason.
Since we all lost connection to the server, how come DRock and I both saw the exact same behavior of that AI hurricane, that kept climbing and climbing to astronomical heights (no pun intended).
I would have expected every flying aircraft to freeze in its last known position after the server crashed, since we would not be receiving position updates from the server...

    Re: Flat Earth?

The moment the client gets no new info from the server re a position of a plane, it moves the plane along the last known vector (which necessarily is the same on your and DRocks clients) until it does receive new info - in this case never.

You see that with aircraft of players with really bad ping, too.

The local brighton chapter got in the news for meeting up in their chosen venue.... a pub... also call The Globe.

I didn't attend. I think its fair to say I have a more rounded opinion.
