unable to change landing to take off for waypoint

    Hi,
    Blitz,
I have a mission for testing my 109E artwork (codes, emblems, mottling and weathering left to do now, spinner spiral matching exactly my actual aircraft now done over 50 hrs I reckon) where the aircraft is set to land on the french airfield. In order to view it with engine static to check my spinner art in game, having already checked it in 3D window as ok. I have to wait until its landed. I use ] to speed things along !

I select that waypoint and try to change it to take off, I make height 0 though it ws that already, speed I set to 0, makes no difference, the take off option is denied me, greyed out. there is only one other waypoint out at sea set to flight so thats ok.

Also how do I create a new mission, i.e a blank template, I load map summer 40 but then what ?

    Cheers

    BOBC

Takeoff must be the first waypoint. Landing must be the last waypoint.

Once you have loaded a map use the Object Browser to add aircraft and ground objects. The FMB will prompt you to save the mission when you leave.

    Hi,
I have my existing landing version open, I go load map choose the map that has tick as thats the map I need to start over with, and nothing changes, I still see my current mission.
How do I get that map with nothing on it ?
    Cheers

    Save your new mission.
Click 'X' on Right Hand of the 'select file to open' box
That should close your saved file missions box.
Then click LH corner to open Map box. Select map to continue with a new clear map.
