    Logitech 3D Pro not recognised

    Hi,
My joystick Logitech Extreme 3D Pro shows up in the controller page, but there's nothing in the "Axes" part of the controller set up?
I've unchecked the Generic controller box in Steam.
It works absolutely fine in IL2 BOS and Arma3.
And it used to work on the old ClOD.
I also use EDTRACKER which also works fine.
    Really stumped.

Have you tried manually assigning the axes; it's no different than assigning any other controller? Honestly, it's been such a long time since I installed my game, I can't recall if it automatically assigned the axes or if I had to manually assign them. Either way should work. Make sure once you've made your assignments to "save" the changes. Maybe even go back in once you've saved the changes to see if they are still there. One of the problems I had in the beginning was doing things in the right order so that they were saved ... I ended up saving my settings as a unique profile i.e. Padre_Multi-Engine, Padre_RAF, Padre_Luftwaffe etc.

Hi Padre, I click on the respective command and perform the action but nothing shows up?

I'm convinced its user error...lol...but nothing seems to even register?

    Try this sequence of events:

    COD_Blitz_Control-Options_1.jpg
    COD_Blitz_Control-Options_2.jpg
    COD_Blitz_Control-Options_3.jpg
If this does not work, then you may be right, and may have to re-install your joy stick, your game or both, or maybe someone else on the forum may have some thoughts on the matter.

Remember: to assign your Aileron control you will have to move the joystick from side to side, for Elevator control the joystick will move from front to back, of course Rudder control you will twist the joystick, and for Throttle control you will move the throttle front to back. The same procedure will also apply when assigning control to your joystick buttons and trigger, as well as any additional keyboard assignments.

    Good luck

    DOH!!!++++++

As suspected it WAS user error.

If I'd clicked "CHANGE" as well as clicking on the respective action I would've saved myself a lot of bother!!!

    All working now.

    Cheers!!

    Padre,

I am having the same issue. I have followed your instructions, but, I cannot get the axis for elevator or rudder or aileron to pop into the box by moving the joystick after selecting change, etc. I can get the trigger button to fill in the box, but the axes from the joystick won't register. Appreciate any help you might provide.

There's many threads on joystick issues here on ATAG and at 1C forums. I'm sure you can find the solution or else a member will put you right.

Check the order of the joystick in your human interface devices... it should be the first in the list.
