How is the control of the FN turrents done in the Welli? Ive not seen this mentioned anywhere. Is it all mouse, key presses or Joystick? If its the latter has the movement been improved over the He111 and blenni "press and hope"?

This then? Just guessing...
cats side - the right answer would be nice

I get it. Cats. Funny
Not so funny = unmodelled or poor control of turrets in the wellington especially given no real evidence its implemented n an offical or semi offical post.
Anyone got anything other than cats on this?

I use the joystick for this and there are key mappings that work also. Either or both.

BTW - For an Wellington RC project.
Model Brownings with working cocking mechanism and liftable top cover
Fully working miniature collimating Mk III gun-sight with automatic reticule dimming in low light
A spotlight, overhead lamp, 3 Bendix signalling lamps and a "panic-light" - all work.
Ammunition tanks and various chutes for feed of rounds and expended cases and links
600 parts per turret, plus a similar number of M1 machine screws, washers and nuts etc, hand-tapped into the nylon parts. Virtually no glue anywhere.
Provision for servo operated traverse
Fully glazed cupolas with correctly shaped compound curvatures (in progress)
Fully operable rotary ventilators (not yet fitted)
Openable doors with working latching mechanisms
Hand-dyed correctly coloured silk-covered cosmetic wiring
Correct mechanical linkages to slave the gunsight to remain parallel to the guns.

The Blenheim turret has controls to swivel the gun and also the ability to rotate the entire turret. These are separate functions and the turret rotation incorporates unlocking the mount, rotation, and then locking again. I think that's what you are seeing as 'sticky'.
Other aircraft like the He-111 and BR20 also work like this. The He-111 even has an up/down control that gives the gun an amazing field of fire.
The Wellington has no swivel, the entire turret moves to aim.
The Blenheim turret rotation was slow and laboured. I wonder if gunners were ever able to track any attacking fighters. Then again the historical Blenheim loss rate likely answers that.
Cliffs Blennie turret rotation is slow and mouse-gun control is a bit awkward. I've tried it with a couple of different joysticks - which felt more ergonomically 'right' but translated into the game being more clumsy than using the mouse. With the task of still needing to fly the Blenheim by switching my stick hand, controlling the turret needs to be as simple as possible.
And though we may very well get hits on the attacker, even causing significant engine damage, rarely does it dissuade them from sitting on your 6 hammering away as it would in real life. However causing them damage and evasive (rear facing & wrong handed) flying can enable you to live a little longer. And then there's luck, which has no key bind sad to say.
It's highly satisfying to take down an adversary while flying a Blenheim.

Also the arbritary movement once unlocked but the gun movment usually compensates for that. Save for even more key bindings for locking/unlocking though I dont see how it could be different so im not critising.
I trust TFS to have modelled the movment speed of the FN accurately so im more than happy with the options detailed.

Can you briefly explain how you did this.I mean to say which turret control setting did you tie to various movement of ( I assume )your stick. I'm guessing you can tie fire weapon to the usual fire button on the stick?
Have you had the same success in Great battles aircraft with gunners assuming you play that sim as well?
Thanks!
EDIT - Sorry, posted in wrong topic.
