It's very likely. I seem to recall that they were in the game for a short time before being lost when overwritten by an update... unsure though.

Is it possible to see the Wildcat screenshots in U.S. Navy markings per chance...Maybe in the Operation Torch scheme?

looking forward to the Martlet, it was an effective fighter for its time (if Wikipedia is absolutely and 100% accurate), Ugly, but effective.

We will be spoilt for choice when 5.0 released, so many new planes to fly.

We are including some non-historic skins i.e. skins that would not have been found at the time or place covered by the map (and in a couple of cases skins that are for a different mark of aircraft than can be found in the game).
This is for reasons of play-ability ... for the increased enjoyment of users; so that players like yourself can re-enact scenarios outside of the historical confines of this version of the game.

    Example. Non-historic skins:

    Mart some non historic 01.jpg

    Kittyhawk Yellow Check a24 code55s04 z.jpg

    Tomahawk Chequer 55 a04s02 z.jpg

    Default Dewoit c85b Big6 YellowTails05 z.jpg

    cheers

There's the ilcat skin I was asking about. This may be asking a lot , but could you do a screenie with it applied ? I wanted to show a doubtful friend the progress being made & the Wildcat is one of his favorites...

The Martlet. I'll try and do a screenshot or two... but as it isn't a fully supported skin the roundel on the side is smaller than it should be. Maybe I'll change it, but it crosses two skin parts (if done to the correct size) so work is needed.

There will be no dedicated skins for this, sorry.

The first screenshot is the first style I did - the side roundel is too far down on the fuselage, and maybe too small. It took a lot of tweaking but I made a better version (remaining screenshots).
