So will TF 5.0 integrate with our exiting control setup and saved loadouts Or will we have to reconfigured controls and loadouts from scratch? Does it do any good to save your old setups?

Not sure, but I would save them regardless. Then you have them just in case.

Enter in Controls and use the SAVE AS button, and save with name you want, after if needed use LOAD button. This will save your keys, buttons and axes assignments.

As extra measure, make copy for other folder of all .INI files in ...Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\

Related to this ensure Steam Cloud is unchecked or this user.ini file will not save. The next time you start Steam / Cliffs it will be gone and you'll have to start over

    Re: Confini

In 5.0 in the same old file and place, User.ini in Documents\1C Soft... dover\

Just test now, and remains as it always has been, with the uninformative and cumbersome jugglery with names in the GUI...

Easy to confirm, open User.ini with Notepad++*, open game, go to Options > Plane, choose a plane and change convergence (what don't require jugglery), hit Aply - in two screens.

Alt+Tab for Notepad++ and see that file was updated, with the new value.

    * Can use Windows Notepad, but this don't update the file in real time, need close and open for see changes.
