    Stall recovery in P40

I have found that stall recovery in Tobruk, particularly in the P 40, is much more difficult than it was in Blitz, I think I have developed bad habits (no not that), and am not doing it correctly.can someone point me to the correct procedure for stall recovery?

One thing I have heard about P-40s in real life is that basically spins are forbidden. About the game though it doesn't make sense unless extreme heat has something to do with it.

Not sure if this will work but:
To recover from the tumble you reduced power and went along for the ride with all controls in neutral. After about 12,000 feet the nose settled into a vertical dive from which recovery was normal.

    S!~
Generally- off power- drop flaps a bit- drop nose- and really easy with the rudder- or hard rudder to correct- depending on the type of spin. These are generalities- and sometimes you're just screwed. Good luck. Now Ill have to prove it when I finally try the P40! Good times....

If you catch the P-40 spin quickly you should have no problem.

If you let it develop into a flat spin, then you are in trouble.

If you think the P-40 is tough to get out of a spin, try the C.202.

spun a couple of times this evening, power off, hands off stick and feet off pedals worked every time, P40 self corrected.

I recovered from a spin the ”normal” way yesterday, but it took longer time than I’m used to...barely recovered above ground. Will try the recommended method next time.
