FMB waypoint action "ESCORT"

Mean this:



One of the Bf 109s was hit, but they continue to ignore the Spitfires.

Action could be renamed for "pajem".

Spitfires was tasked "Free hunt", in attempt for don't stick in bombers or fighters only.

First they detect and attack the bomber, but eventually adere to player order for attack fighters.

"Radio" commands still a bit confuse, some orders don' have confirmation, so player don't know if AI will will comply or not.

And one more interesting fact:

Let's say you the 2nd plane(wing man of the group leader)

If the group leader was shot down, then the 3rd 4th 5th...plane will follow you where ever you go, and you can do nothing with tab cammand key )

I did some testing and this is my theory.

Using Normal waypoints for the enemy fighters (they seem to prioritse attacking the bombers which is nice), and ace setting for maxium 'vision' and 'situational awareness'. These are my thoughts and my theory:

1) You need to have a transition from 'Normal flight' to 'Escort' for your escorting fighters to trigger their escort behaviour

2) You need at least two escort waypoints linked in parallele to the flight you are escorting using the 'Set' button.

3) The fighters give up their escort behaviour when approaching the last escort waypoint, so make sure it extends further than the exact point you wish the escort to end

4) They need good vision (and maybe SA) settings.

Following these points I seemed to get the escort behaviour to work fine, or by knowingly changing something from the above, break it at will.
