Creaking and stress noises go into continuous loop

Creaking and stress noises sometimes go into continuous loop that continues even after aircraft is stopped. For me it occurs most often in the CR.42.

Also, it may just be me, since I am in no way familiar with this aircraft's landing characteristics, but the CR.42 doesn't seem to slow from drag in the landing rollout.
Or maybe because RPM's hang up around 2000 and stay there. I know you guys are smart enough to figure it out. Disregard it was my throttle not allowing the plane to slow. Sorry for the bother.

Had the same issue once with a crashed TOMAHAWK. Would put in bug tracker but have forgotten my user name and password

Got it today with a Beaufighter Tropical, the way it happened was, my pilot got killed by the flak while my plane was turning, it kept turning until the ground and the noise was still looping.

Same here in the Bf 110 Trop variants. It's a quite rare occourrence but it happens. When it happens it seems to behave like the old continuos machine gun sound bug. ( or rather this sound continuosly repeated in an infinite sound loop ) At least here I have to restart the game to let it stop.

It is also manifested in all the range of Bf 109 trop, plus the pilot's breathing due to G stress,

The CR.42 does not have flaps and therefore does not lose speed easily. You have to do long flat approaches, or side slips to kill the speed. Beware of risk to stall if done too abruptly

The stress noise is a known issue. It will be resolved in a future patch.

Re: Creaking and stress noises go into continuous loop

Hi Noofy, have you noticed in a heavy foward slip on short final that the RPM's seem to almost lock in place around 2000, and are very reluctant to decrease.

Disregard this message as I found my throttle was not resetting to an absolute zero. I can now stop the CR.42 by the 4th yellow sign.

Sure glad to hear that. And it's not just stress noise of the aircraft but pilot gasping as well. A right royal rear end pain.

Srry, gotta keep bumping this thread cuz it's soooo annoying.
After all, it's the creaking noise that gets the oil.

Agreed...and every time you need to restart the game to let it stop...very annoying indeed...small sound issue but nasty.

Don't know if that's the same sort of issue but two or three times I had the broken motor of a 109 still audible idling after a crash/belly landing. Short before the landing, I switched the magnetos on 0.

I‘ve had this bug a couple of times. PKed while G-stressing and the airframe sounds continue after respawning.
    Bf 109F-4 Trop/derated.

It went away after I took off and pulled some Gs. It is as if the sound doesn‘t get reset when you die or crash. But when the sound starts playing again, it turns off fine.
