Fraps not working anymore

My fraps doesn't seem to work with the Cliffs of Dover anymore. The FPS counter doesn't even show up. Still running win7 if that helps

Hi Rich, not sure what you where using to monitor your frames per second display, but there is an simple little utility that you can use in the Steam Overlay. Go to the "Settings" section of the Steam Overlay (I do this by right clicking the Steam icon that is in my Taskbar tray, and selecting "Settings" from the drop down menu). When the Settings window opens, select the "In-Game" section. On the right side of the screen you will see the options for using the FPS display (see picture below).

You can decide which corner of the screen to display the FPS, as well as how visible the display will be.

Who's using FRAPS these days, that is so early 2000s

If you want an FPS counter I recommend RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS).
If you want to record stuff I recommend OBS (freeware).

What about the in game FPS counter?

Options > Controls > Game > assign a key for "Activate Console", use for open and close.

Open console, type (observe lower and upper case):

fps SHOW START

Hit Enter, close console, and...

Everything is fine now I got the Geforce Force video capture to work again and it has a frame counter also.......By the way I love Roger Wilco too Karaya
