Hello! (again)

After a prolonged absence (recovery?) from CLoD, I have decided to actively and intentionally relapse. (While iRacing is fun, you can't shoot anything...)

I have a new computer system installed in my cockpit, dusted off my Warthog stick and HOTUS and ordered a set of Crosswind rudder pedals from Croatia that are due to arrive in about 10 days. I've been trying to get reacquainted with the CLoD universe (which has triggered my PTSD from the old installation procedure of downloading and installing multiple patches, add-ons, etc.) Looks like things have evolved a bunch!

Some questions:

Do I just need to download/install the Blitz version from Steam and connect to the server? Or, are there more patches to add?

Does the game work with VR (Valve Index, maybe?)

What is the Team Fusion #3 server?

no patches required. All are official and through Steam.

currentnly no VR (I also have a Valve Index here... dont miss it in this but would in car sims... !)

Hi Randale,

welcome back!

Glad you posted the question about Blitz on Steam.

Just install Blitz in Steam and you are good to go. Don't install the original version (which should be in your Steam library still). You don't need it and it may interfere with the Blitz game.

No VR (yet, hopefully) but official word is, if everything goes well we will have it in early 2021.

TF#3 server is the server with Tobruk map and content (from the Desert Wings DLC). Most players play there.
TWC and ATAG are running the channel map but I can't recall if any of them has Desert Wings Tobruk. That is relevant because you can only play on a server with the new content (like Bf 109Fs, Spits Mk V) if you have the DLC.
