    War Emergency Power?

Greetings, is WEP modeled in any of the new allied aircraft? I have it mapped to a button but it doesn't seem to do anything. Didn't see anything about it in the flashcards unless I overlooked it. Thanks in advance.

Depends on plane and how was modeled for that plane.

Bf 109's use the WEP button - although RL plane don't have a WEP button, but "extra boost" is controlled by throttle posstion (like in IL-2:GB).

Spit/Hurri/Blein don't use WEP button, because their "extra boost" is controlled by throttle 100% position, that increase for "110%" (game approach) when the BCO physical limiter is ON (what mean that the limiter is OUT).

As 1lokos says. Axis llanes use wep in the key bindings

Allied tend to use boost cutoff overide (or something lke that)

    Different systems diffent bindings.

Serach for boost cutoit overide in the bindings.

Hit that and then dethrottle a bit and go back to 100.... and it will be 110%

Hit it again and you will go back to 100%

If you have a throttle like Warthog and an version of VPC throttle with 'detent' for afterburner, can adjust in Controls > Axis, the "100% position" slider for that 100% (send for game) became equals your throttle in 'detent' position, so passing the 'detent' enter in 110% range, without the back and forth.

Thanks for the replies. I use the "Boost Cut Out" in Spits and Hurricanes. I remember the WEP in some of the American planes in IL2 '46. Didn't know if the P-40 variants or the Martlet had it.

Have we any key binding for GM-1 in 109 Z variants, or the only way to use it, is clicking on the valve in the cockpit?

    Hi Hiuuz,

I'm not sure but try using keys for fuel cock #2.

I tried and "fuel cock #2" is for the oil tank. "Fuel cock #3" is for the GM-1!
    Thank you!

IIRC in the RAF fighter variants there should be also a key for the warp drive LOL
