On the contrary, what we have now is a great effect, especially how it rises and disperses. But still not as much as seen in real life.
The current dust and smoke effects are excellent, and not frame heavy as we've seen in the past.

What I think is hilarious, since the DWT add-on, now when I fly the channel map I have those dust animation. Makes no difference where I'm taxiing from, grass strip or hanger

I really did like IL2 1946 prop wash too, especially over water.

But that's not yellow desert dust, just dry grey English country soil that gets blown up by the propwash.
It wasn't there before DWT .... happens when you spawn in the hangers as well!
