MISSION 1:
10 July 1940 was the start of four days of violent and dramatic air fighting. That is why this date is officially counted in the UK as the beginning of the Battle of Britain.

At 08:15 AM 3 Spitfires from the 66 Squadron based in Coltishall flown by P/O C.A.Cooke, P/O J.A.P.Studd and Sgt F.N.Robertson shot down between Yarmouth and Harwich a lone Dornier 17z of Kampfgeschwader 3 (KG3) sent on reconnaissance in search of a convoy of ships codenamed BREAD, which had set sail on the Thames estuary and was heading for the Channel.
Around 10:30hrs AM another Dornier of 4.(F)/121 on recon flight but this time with an escort of about 20+ Bf109s of I/JG 51 was picked up on both Dover CH and Foreness CHL radar stations. Meanwhile BREAD convoy was rounding the North Foreland, heading South West. Six Spitfires of No. 74 Squadron were directed to the location where the enemy had been spotted.

Every airplane that took part in the battle has been recreated. We will be 3 of the 6 Spitfires protecting the convoy.

If you wanna join the battle, write to me.
NOTE: Even those who do not have the Tobruk expansion can participate
