Hi All,
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't see any pictures on my dash in the Tobruk planes. Do you have to load them somehow?
Cheers, Aussie Pilot.
To see them you need to edit/overwrite the file that is located in the path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\DashPics\Selected.
In the folder at this path you can find some images already prepared that you can use: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\DashPics\Templates
Don't forget, before making any edits to take a backup copy of the original blank file so to have it always available if needed.

Ah yes, what a disappointment, the 10 metres still doesn't work.
Just tried it and my Kenley Do17s just roller-coasted up and down between 100 metres and 10 meters with the pilots using their control columns like they were pumping water.
Sorry TF, this isn't fixed at all, but thanks anyway.
Hmm, yes, I saw porpoising by aircraft 1 and 2, the others were flying level (but higher).
I used 6 dornier:
takeoff waypoint
then a normal flight at 200m (just to try and ensure they took off properly)
then a normal flight at 25 m then some more at 25 m across the channel and back.
I tried putting discipline and basic flying at maximium but no difference.
I am Yo-Yo not YoYo (that's someone else)
A Blenheim IV set for fly at 10 meters over sea, keep indicated 100 feet's (~30 meters) but fly nose up, nose down, nose up, nose down - seems that are conflicting instructions... and so on. Same for 50 meters.
60 meters is the threshold, AI keep at indicated ~200 feet's (174 in "WW" view) and fly leveled.

My info windows are completely messed up since the patch.
Anyone else having the problem?
Great. This thing will never end.
Can you guy post (or send via PM) your confUser.ini from "c:Users/<...bla.bla...>/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" folder?
And some short description when it happened and what were you doing? Did you have the same info windows scattered
in different places or some completely new info windows? Screen resolution? Windows and game language?
Did you run the server and the game at the same time? Do you have the game installed on several different computers?
All things come to an end, the important thing is just to have a lot of fun in the mean time
As far as I remember:
Game in German, server massages in English. Cache cleared every time before starting the game.
Installation on just one computer. Resolution 1920x1080, 60 Hz, pseudo mode.
I spawned in yesterday in time for the Saturday event 19:30 GMT on TFS 3.
After taking off with a Beau I realised that I did not get the blue messages about 'landing gear up' 'bombs armed' (Thas why we could not blow up this da**d radar ) or the compass headings.
After a long sortie I landed and managed to re-create this window in the correct place, where I had it before on the screen.
I started again and sprayed a lot of bullets into the air, but then while flying back (and getting shot up) all the windows suddenly jumped clockwise. The engine management window moved from right lower corner to left lower corner and changed from written info to these vertical bars. The chat window jumped from left lower corner to left upper corner. The 'new' window mentioned above styed in place.
That's when I gave up yesterday.
This morning 7:00 GMT we went again on TFS 3.
I again restored everything and put it into my favoured places (Thanks Kayo and Dostal for your help and patience).
We were flying for about 2 hours when the server messages (axis convoi spotted ...) suddenly appeared in the upper centre of the screen instead of upper left corner.
I think that's about it.
confUser.zip
Only had it happen once, right after the update.
First time in cockpit it was all different. No new Windows, but the Net Stats was all different, as well as the chat Window. Was missing the Vehicle Info one.
Spent some time restoring settings in game, and did some deleting of lines in confUser.ini, as I somehow created one Window I could not get rid of.
Windows resolution 1920x1080. Windows and Game Language is English.
I have had the -server running and the game at the same time, but that has been a while, not anywhere close in time to the installation of this patch.
Game is installed on several computers, but the other installs are only to run the -server version. (SteamCloud is not enabled.)
Contents of my ConfUser.ini is below ...
Spoiler:
After taking off with a Beau I realised that I did not get the blue messages about 'landing gear up' 'bombs armed' (Thas why we could not blow up this da**d radar ) or the compass headings.
"Bombs armed" message OK, as few planes has animation in corresponding switches.
But "Landing gear up/down"? All planes have monitoring lights in cockpit funcional.

Do these updates only affect Tobrok now? Is anything else being done to improve CLoD in the future?
