Very nice to see some FMB love in this update! Thanks TFS. The objects now spawn in with theater appropriate skins is huge help! Thanks TFS. What does the load dialogue now rescans folder upon reopening do? I thought it did that already? What am I missing.. haha
    Cheers

*** Fix: Never ending overstress sound resolved.

Rumours of its fix may well be premature.

Flew late last night in beaufighter, flak blew me out, respawned, all the creaking and groaning occurred. First time for a while but it happened unfortunately - sorry for the bad news. Left server and back in was all ok.

    Pattle,

I have not been in CloD for a couple of months, and just noticed the youtube video about the joystickwizard. I went to Steam, to update to the latest CloD version. One thing I noticed was Steam shows me having Blitz, but not Tobruk. Is that a problem, because I know I have Tobruk? Also, I could not find a folder in C/Steamapps/Common mentioning Tobruk. Is that a problem? I also could not find
there the joystickwizard file. How can I check that I have the latest CloD update, which is 11, I think?

    Thanks,

    @TWC SLAG

Since you did a fresh install, in Steam right click over BLITZ shortcut, choose "Properties" and in DLC tab tick TOBRUK for enable.

    Joystick Wizard is located in

..:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\

Right click over the "JoystickWizard.exe" and make a shortcut, then move for convenient place.

That's CloD, simple things are done by... confusing methods.

Re: Upcoming Patch 011 - Changelog

By default DLCs are enabled for every game on steam,

What I believe SLAG meant was if Tobruk was a separate game from Blitz,
    the answer is no.

You have Blitz and Tobruk together in 1 folder and under 1 name, which is "IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz".

In order to check what your current game version is launch the game and on the bottom right corner you will have the version number,
if its not updated check your Downloads on steam and click on the arrow to proceed updating it.

No. I just didn’t see Tobruk in places like on Steam, and wondered if if had missed a download somewhere. When you open CloD, Blitz and Tobruk are listed separately. I also couldn’t find the joystickwizard file on my computer. I finally had to search for it in “This Computer”. I couldn’t find it by going through stream/steamapps/common/etc. Now, all is well with the world.

    Thanks, 1lokos.

An relative easy way to access "/il2 sturmovik cliffs of dover Blitz/" folder and "JoystickWizard.exe" is in CloD GUI Main Menu click in Extras, then in "Manuals", what will open the Windows Explorer in "/manuals" folder, then in Explorer task bar click "il2 sturmovik cliff of dover Blitz" an in Open box type: JoystickWizzard.exe, hit Enter.

Yes, a bit complicated too... but what in CloD is no complicated instead simplified?

And to add "insult to injury", for make these new joystick assignment effective is need re-start the game - . ini files are read when game load, or go to Controls and use the LOAD button, choosing ConfUser.ini - that has been updated by Joystick Wizard; after hit APLY, making the assignments effective.

Of course, an "new/casual" player difficult will figure this.

Add that some players may set "Seam Library" in another partition than in C:\, and if don't remember about... will start cursing.

The original idea was for it to be ran from the game menu (avoiding the need to look for it) and , after closing it, the game would reload the ini file (hence automatically load the changes and avoiding the need to restart).
I think this is in the works.
