MK-101 what is it good for? Not for U-Boats...

Hi there,

few days ago I flew in a Beaufighter against some U-Boats. I was able to take two out of action just with the cannons. After hitting their turrets a few times they started burning and sunk later on. How cool is that! So I went in a Me 11 C-6 and its mighty gun against this british sub NE of Tobruk. Well, it didn't work well. 12 direct hits in and near the turret and the sub did not even start burning. I wonder was is this gun even good for? I mean this beast were shooting with tungsten core amunition! It should go through ship steel like butter.

I think you are better off using HE rounds against ships and other relatively "soft" targets. The APCR should be used against tanks and other heavily armored targets.
