    Are you kidding me

Well then, I guess if you can afford the costs of all the add-ons, you can afford the cost of a dedicated PC just for DCS

It was the main factor in getting a Terabyte M2 HDD.
DCS alone is 200GB and I don't have all the modules.

T2b game drive here. It has about 580gb left on it.

In a few years someone will stumble across this thread and laugh.... 2tb? My iToaster has more than that!

Reminds me when I bought my first HDD for my Macintosh SE back in the mid-80’s.
It was as big as the base of the Mac, which could sit on it.
Big noisy fan to keep it cool, and lots of screeky noises when I was saving to it or reading from it.
    It was ... 20MB...

lol, ain't it the truth tho...
My 1T only has 280GB left on it, I see a 2T in the near future or work out how to utilise my spare 500GB M2 to just run DCS from.

Re: DCS World - 2021 and beyond

    Hi Guys.

I’ve been into DCS for a while now, and Wow! Love it.

The price does seem expensive, however you spend a lot of time learning each aircraft. Also, try to pick up your ‘wish list’ items while they are on sale. A handful of aircraft will keep you busy for a long time if you want to master them.

The ground pounding is incredible, and weapon systems are insane.

Lately, I’ve been focused on the F-86 Sabre and Mig-15bis. Old style dogfighting with a little more horsepower.

The more modern jets are fun, too, but my short online dogfight missions end with....beep, beep, beep, BOOM!

For those of you who have fallen in love with the Ka-50, the last 10 seconds of that video was your favourite part.

Hope to see you guys in the sky sometime. ~S~

    Hiya, Noofy.

My G50 is in a museum, Sir.

CoD is uninstalled to make room for DCS and BoS. Great game, but I've moved on.
