Hi All,
Hope everyone is staying safe and well.
TFS continue to work on improving your flight sim experience. Patch 18 has something for all players.
Single player improvements and new skins now available.
We hope you enjoy the improvements in this update.
Regards,
TFS Team
*** Values (flying, shooting, tactics, awareness, ...) of all AI default
skill levels (Rookie, Average, Veteran, Ace) adjusted for new and
existing missions.
*** Hurricane IIA/IIB/IIC/IID including late versions and Tropical
models had overheat schedules revised.
*** A new Battle of France mission, The Battle on the Somme, has been
added. It has five playable flights.
*** Scenery added and fixed to the Scegga airfields in the Desert Hawks
campaign.
*** Briefings revised with more accurate information for missions 03,
08, and 10 of the Desert Hawks campaign.
*** Missions 03 and 10 of the Desert Hawks campaign and missions 07 and
10 of the Eagles over Tobruk campaign revised to have more accurate
Hurricane fighter-bomber behaviour.
*** Mission 1 of the Adler Angriff campaign has been updated. The player
is now the flight leader, and will meet the Do-215 over Marquise West
rather than the English Channel. These changes will make escorting the
Do-215 much more feasible. Thank you, reddit user u/Titan828, for making
us aware of this issue.
*** The skins used in the Desert Hawks, Eagles over Tobruk, and On Ne
Passe Pas! campaigns have been updated for historical accuracy and
variety, and slides have been updated to match.
*** The Desert Hawks, Eagles over Tobruk, On Ne Passe Pas!, and Rising
from the Ashes campaigns, along with the single missions A Busy Morning,
Aftershocks, Attack of the Eagles, August Attrition, The Battle Goes On,
Corpo Aereo Italiano, Corpo Aereo Italiano II, The Kanalkampf, No
Respite, The Old and the New, Royal Rodeo, and The Southampton Blitz
have all had their RAAF, RAF, and RCAF flights revised to feature as
many aircraft with the serial numbers and tactical markings of actual
aircraft that served with the depicted squadron in real life at some
point as possible. These aircraft have been given positions in the
flight that are appropriate for the rank of at least one pilot who flew
the specific aircraft. Some of these aircraft use specific skins,
including the newly added RAF ace and Hurricane skins (see below).
Slides have been updated to match.
*** All Stuka flights amended to return to base at low altitude after
divebombing.
*** Playable squadrons in the missions Attack of the Eagles and The
Kanalkampf have been altered for historical accuracy.
*** The speed of playable Stuka flights where the player is not the
flight leader have been amended to make it easier for the player to keep
up. The briefings of all Stuka flights have been similarly amended with
the proper speed.
*** New slides added for the mission Christmas Convoy.
*** Briefings for the mission Christmas Convoy amended with the proper
name for 804 NAS.

Brothers has been added for all variants of the Hurricane Mk.I
(excluding the tropical and nightfighter versions).

Johnstone has been added for all variants of the Spitfire Mk.I.

Rankin have been added for all non-tropical variants of the Spitfire
Mk.Vb.

non-tropical variants of the Hurricane Mk.II.
*** Four new skins depicting the aircraft flown by Luftwaffe ace Adolf
Galland have been added to all non-tropical variants of the Bf-109 F-2.
*** Four skins depicting early 1940 Luftwaffe Bf-109s have been added to
the Bf-109 E-1 and Bf-109 E-3.

added to the Bf-110 C-2.

Crusader portion of the Eagles over Tobruk campaign.
*** Added Axis flak to coastal areas near roads, as well as Axis
aircraft and scenery to Gazala No. 2 airfield, in the Desert Hawks and
Eagles over Tobruk campaigns, as well as the single mission The Old and
the New.
*** Removed stray cableless barrage balloon from single missions set in
the Southampton/Le Havre area.
*** Applied minor update to the slide captions of several missions.
*** Changed the tactical markings of John Dundas' Spitfire X4586 from
PR-D to PR-O in the single mission The Battle Goes On, and updated
slides to match.
*** Changed the briefings of the single mission The Old and the New to
say that the date is 14/10/1941, in order to better reflect the C.202's
service history. According to Osprey Publishing's book Italian Aces of
World War 2, the C.202's first victory was scored on 30/9/1941.
*** Added a new skin depicting the aircraft of RAAF ace Clive Caldwell
with victory markings for 14/10/1941, and incorporated it into The Old
