Great work. Shame TFS aren't sharing the official one they promised in November but great to see the community helping out

I dont think the Martlet was on the cards for the next release back then, but I may be mistaken.
As far as I can see (looking at my records) the last thing we announced regarding templates was that the following templates would be released:
    Bf109
    Bf109 trop
    G50
    Cr42
    Bf108
    Tiger Moth

Sorry for the delay, but other things got in the way
I'm making up for it by creating a small Bf109F skin pack (for free).
... and the templates will follow.

    Thanks MP
    Happy to Oblige

    Hi Major Setback
    You stated that
    G50
    Cr42
    Bf108
    Tiger Moth
Templates are due to be released, will these differ from the ones I have already made for Cliffs of Dover /Blitz?

    Regards
    Keith

They are the ones I used to make the in-game skins and default skins, though simplified. I haven't studied your templates so I don't know how they would differ.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but while we are on the subject - I'm adding more emblems to a couple of the templates. This is partly the reason for the delay.

O.K Buddy was just pointing out they were there to save you time if they were compatible.
Keep up the great work Mate.

Thanks, but most of the work is done.

The time it takes me to create the simple user templates involves sorting and removing unnecessary layers. I have messy templates with hundreds of layers. I have to remove all the un-needed ones.
Also I often duplicate a template and then add just a nose art or emblem, so sometimes the emblems can be spread over many template variations. That means a lot of copying/pasting from different templates to a master template.
I also change the layer-masks to ordinary layers as they will be easier to use for some people.
Desert and temperate templates need merging too.
So it takes a bit of time, but also I need to take care not to remove the important bits, or layers that have temporarily been turned off just for one or two skins.

    No problem Mate
Yep making Templates from scratch is as You say very time consuming but very rewarding when they are appreciated
but as You know feedback is not always forth coming, not that We do it for praise BUT it is nice to have the many hours of work agknowledged.
