    Hi all at ATAG

Just to say a BIG thanks to everyone for the great welcome. And to Gromit who has been "patiently" instructing me and familiarization on controls. finally managed to get a spit in the air. "wot oh". Can't wait to get back up there and fly around with you guys. (i'll be the one doing everything wrong lol). But again thanks for the suppport everyone's given much appreciated. Tally ho for now

Doing things 'wrong' isn't always a problem. Sometimes people will even encourage it...It's wrong to fly over enemy airfields so all the flak is drawn to you. But your mates will tell you to do it anyway. Don't listen to anyone that tells you that you seem like a 'brave type'. It's a trap!

    Ha ha! Well done, Trooper!

Great to hear you're settling in...and you've got a great mentor in Gromit! He was shooting down Messerschmitts when I was still in Flying School. If he misses his target...which rarely happens....he just opens his cockpit and hurls a lump of Welsh coal at them! Works every time! They breed 'em tough 'in the valleys!'

Looking forward to flying with you soon! Good luck! Salute!

The one and only good advise for Blue pilots is always to fly low, slow and perfectly straight on.
    Seriously, I'm honest!

    Welcome Trooper.

Cliffs and Tobruk offers a relatively large learning curve. Stick with it, as the reward and feeling of 'getting there's is well worth it.

    Cheers,

    Pattle
