Hello all.Just starting to engage with CoD Blitz and like it a lot had CoD for quite a while but could never get it to work properly. Acquired Tobruk yesterday. Have to learn flying in formation and stop myself colliding with terrain so much more practice needed.

G'day, Blinkey..... warm greetings from 'a Pommy Bastard,' here! Great to have you join us! We have a lot of antipodeans flying CLoD and they are all, to a man, excellent 'stand out' fellows and worth their weight in gold. You are amongst good company.

I hope you eventually get to join us on multiplayer so you can meet some of your fellow Aussie pilots, plus the rest of us. We have a huge amount of fun and a lot of laughs on Team Speak and Discord. If you have any questions or problems let us know about them because we are here to help. CLoD is a huge learning curve but talking to us on Team Speak does speed the process up 'big time.' Forget the old days when CLoD 'didn't work.' TFS have modded the sim so that it is now a real outstanding jewel and getting better all the time....much background work continues in the background and will be worth waiting for.

So stick around, Blinkey! It's going to be a hell of a ride! Good luck....and Salute!

Welcome, Blinkey!

Just pick your favourite aircraft, fly a bunch of Quick Missions and/or Single Missions as you work out your joystick buttons and keyboard commands. As already been said, don’t hesitate to jump online and introduce yourself on Teamspeak or Discord. We welcome all new pilots and are very willing to wing up with you and pass on some hints. Marlow can tell you what to do and I can show you what exactly NOT to do.

Hi Blinky,
Welcome to the forum. Bit of a learning curve but worth the effort and the only silly questions are the ones u don't ask.
Don't forget the flashcards in "Manuals" in the main Blitz directory...very useful especially if u have a dual monitor setup.
