    I Hope not, because in il2 Bos that update is needed and must after latest update to BOS. So you have to decide are you playing Bos or Clod....

    Is there any easy solution to swich backandforth between dx9 and dx11?

    Your best bet is to upgrade to Win10. I've done so half a year ago and haven't had any regrets at all so far. Both sims work absolutely flawlessly, in fact Cliffs runs more smoothly for me on Win10 than it ever has on Win7.
