This is an operating Guide for the recently-activated Fixed Loop Radio Compass found in the Wellington, Beaufighter, and Br.20.

Have been taking a look at this. How to do you determine what the Primary Frequency of the homing beacon is for each field? Also is this setup for both English and desert maps?

This is up to the mission builder. The frequencies should be noted in the Briefing.

I’ll add this to the Guide. Thanks Birdtail and Oskar.

Done! Added this to the Guide. (Hopefully saves a bit of unnecessary head scratching. Thx again, Birdtail!)

    3. Using the keyboard controls you just assigned, set your Primary Frequency to the homing beacon* set up for your airfield. (In this case, the Primary Frequency is set to 303)

*Note: refer to the Mission Briefing to find the Long Range Beacon locations and their respective frequencies.
