Operation Compass - The Pursuit Sat Nov 20 1930 UTC

    Objective Tobruk

The fall of Bardia has opened eyes on both sides in the Mediterranean theater. British forces are pushing towards Tobruk but are at the end of a very long supply line. Urgently needed supplies are being shipped to the newly captured ports at Sollum and Bardia. Italy has deployed the latest front line aircraft from the homeland and opened Sicilian airfields to the Luftwaffe. Essential supplies are being rushed across by ship.

This mission revolves around the naval situation. Both sides have convoys near the coast and many other vessels in port and moving along the coast. Both sides have torpedo bombers and Ju-87s are available for the blue side.

Air spawn points are provided for aircraft arriving from Sicily and Alexandria.

An important note: Attacking ships is very dangerous because they have so much AA. It is strongly recommended that players link up on Team Speak and attack as a group.

As usual there will be a practice period starting 30 minutes before the mission.

    Beautiful screenshot!

I've shamelessly "stolen" it to promote this event for Nov 20. Please forgive me - I did give you credit for the illustration.

    Hi J-Hat,

As soon as I find out I will let you (and everyone) know. I don't have my paws (claws?) on the mission yet to run a server check on it, but I know that finishing touches are being made at present.

    Stay tuned.

I'm always happy when my screenshots are used by others.

Also, anyone are free to use any of my sreenshots in any way.
And even no need in any credits or mentioning of me

This is one of the most exciting screenshots I ever saw.
So, the creator definitely should be given credit, as Snapper did.

Of course I'm again unable to join in the fun due to gigs near Chicago and Ft Myers this week. I'd much rather be flying a Welly with you lot into battle than traversing the US on American Airlines. Oh well. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun.

Stay close for support and keep an eye on each other. No collisions ! When them nasty flies come close let them know they're not welcome.

Pics and clips please for when I return.

It sounds like trade has picked up, Dazza, but we’re sorry you can’t join us. I’ll run a .trk recording as well as in-cockpit video (to catch our illustrious Teamspeak dialogues! LOL).

My plan is to let loose with torps, then ditch my Welly to grab another airspawn. There’s a Brit convoy that’ll fish me out of the Med. LOL

really enjoyed Saturdays sortie, looking forward to the next one, Don't quite understand how Blue team were CAPing target, suspect espionage or maybe a mole in red team, I wonder who it could be.......Snargle seems to have a lot of Italian and German cousins......
