VR WIP - GUI Implemented in VR Beta - Cliffs of Dover Blitz/Desert Wings Tobruk

The GUI is now working in VR, including splash screen, home screen, selection screens and cockpit mouse interactions.

The minimap and 2D overlays are in good way.

As you can see in the video, there is some flickering in the virtual screen that needs to be fixed and will be.

We are getting closer to releasing the VR Beta to a selected group of participants... will be posting more details in the next few weeks hopefully.

Also just wondering is anything else going on with what's next as far as another arena like Sicily, Malta. Italy or what ever?

    There is a plan.
The plan consits of two parts: Part A and Part B.
Part A will precede part B, and Part B will follow part A. There should be no confusion about the order of release of these two Parts. Part B will never precede Part A and Part B will always follow the release of Part A.

Unfortunately we are unable to divulge to contents of either of these planned Parts.

    I hope this is helpful.

.. but apart from that - we can't really comment on what is ahead of the next update/ improvement (VR and visuals). One step at a time.
There are plans though ( 'Part A ...').

I don't know what version you're playing, but the one the rest of us are playing has a clickable cockpit. Apparently this sim is not for you.

I am sure what you are seeing is not user error…

But yeah, if at some point you really want to know what you are doing wrong and solve it, let us know.

Edit: I think I might habe misinterpreted your post and you are talking about BoS and asking TFS to finish CloD so you can play it in VR. You got a history here after all. Sorry if that’s the case.

Had my first VR experience in a DCS TF-51 this weekend. It met my expectations. Looking forward to it being implemented in my favorite sim.

Closed beta testing has been started with participants already invited. Testing itself should start around the 25th of this month. No one knows yet when it will end and when VR will get released to the public.
