    DC-3 Emergency

I was taxing aQ400 behind a FedEx MD11 on my way to Juliet for a power assurance run.
The DC3 was on active several planes ahead of us. We watched it roll.
Only found later on return to hangar what their fate was. Great save.

    Re: DC-3 Emergency

    Thanks for the posting.

Did not know that you could still make a profit with one.

In the mid 70's I flew copilot on DC-3 for a few months and found the video interesting. While flying the DC-3 just 250 hours we had 2 engine failures. One at altitude with a blown jug, and the other shut down after take off with oil leaking badly. Nether was a problem to land. We were obviously flying around in junk.

My question here is how heavy was it? As I remember it should have done OK at maximum gross weight on one engine, being at sea level and nice and cold.
