Still shudder when I see the Spanish Buchons... involuntary reaction.

Love the power of the Sea Fury... they were prop beasts... but of course, never saw combat in WWII.

Me too. To me they seem as natural as a turducken.

LOL, yep, always love seeing these videos!
Still love the British aircraft most, but ever since finding out about the "funny nosed 109s" I am always on the lookout on the side when watching these videos to see if someone has an original 109 haha!

PaddyPatrone has filmed a few of the late model 109s which I think are legitemately restored, I think he MIGHT have filmed a German 109 early model once. I know he did film an early model German 109 converted to a dual cockpit. I'll have to search through his videos again.

Also today is the day I found out what Turducken was...acurate comment, but what I want to know is how are you meant to eat the begger?

Makes sense, seems like it would be a bit of a struggle though xD

    S!

Those Buchons are an abomination! A real mishmash of 109´s. Fuselage and wings from G-series, but wing cannons installed like on E-series. I think there are a few real 109´s, or converted back from Buchons, flying in Usedom, Germany. They even have a G-12, the twin seater. Had a trip planned to go there, but darned Covid-19 spoiled all the fun Klaus Plata flies 109´s there often too.

I have the same reaction when I see the Spanish Buchons.

The Sea Fury never saw service during WWII, but did see action during the Korean War. One Sea Fury, piloted by Peter Carmichael famously shooting down a Mig 15.
