    Yes ! I looked into this

    I got a quote from a company who does this.

    The came back with a quote of £40,000 (seriouldy... this is 100% true). Crazy money.


    You coudl do it yourself, its been done buy others... but its a lot of work, and my welding isnt up to a DIY project of that nature.

    until someone comes up with a crate engine and batteries bet more affordable (and lighter for this car) its a no go.

    BUT

    I'm confindent this will change. and one day... she will most likely get an electric motor.

    If I buy that car someday, I will surely bother you for some other suggestions.

    By the way: I had heard that a noticeable increase in power could be achieved by replacing the camshaft. Obviously this involves the opening of the whole engine, in such an engine.

    Moreover, installing also double sidedraft carbs, is it just a useless expense? And very expensive too ...
