    Question Pseudo or Full screen?

    S!

As the title says, which one You use? Any benefits or downsides in them? I have been testing both modes and frankly can not tell the difference between the two. Performance is the same in MP, have not run tracks for more consistent results. But my average FPS range is in 1440p about 140-280fps, depending on how heavy the mission is. I do not use VSync as tearing is minimal or non-existent and the small amount I see does not bother me. So, what are Your opinions about the modes, which one is better or preferred?

    Re: Pseudo or Full screen?

I can't see any difference in performance or behavior, either.

The only thing I noticed, that if I want to choose another resolution as the native one (i.e. using a lower, or a downsampling resolution), it is only possible in Pseudo.

    Re: Pseudo or Full screen?

I just tried: If you are using only one screen, other resolutions will work on FullScreen, too.

This all being said for Nvidia, I don't have an AMD-Card, could be different...

There used to be some computer configurations that required Pseudo for compatibility, but I think the modern operating system has eliminated that need. I remember using it years ago, but I can't even remember why.

    Re: Pseudo or Full screen?

I have to run in Pseudo mode.
Otherwise I get a black screen for several seconds at the start of each mission, fine for ground starts but air starts are a bit scary when you can't see where you're going.
