    Status of Virtual Cockpit?

Just getting back to CLOD. Is VC no longer supported, not working? I sure did like it.

    Re: Status of Virtual Cockpit?

I never used it, so I may not be up to date, but one pilot who flies with us, had problems because it was never updated to the changes in engine management since the Tobruk release. So warning lamps for overheating and such may give you very incorrect information.

    Re: Status of Virtual Cockpit?

There was an update at some point in time.
Perhaps you are still on the older version?
The newer one is available here: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...downloadid=188
Works for me, although I must confess I prefer reading the instruments in cockpit (except for the dreaded british compass of course)…

Glad to hear that. I only use the compass/DG, which I had specifically asked for. They are the only ones hard to see. When I put it on a second monitor, it’s a great help.

    Re: Status of Virtual Cockpit?

    Great thread!

I’ve never used VC before this, but reckoned I’d give it a try. Worked flawlessly!

I had to “allow” the Windows Defender Firewall to let Virtual Server access my network, but following the instructions worked great.

Hoping a version comes out for the Wellington which will include the two gauges for the Fixed Loop Radio Compass and the Lorenz Beacon for a bit of low vis/night time navigating & landing.

There is a WIP version of the Wellington VC cockpit. If you scroll down this page https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...t=3887&page=18

Not sure what the latest status is.

Yes, Fehler did a beautiful job on this. It works like a charm with the Welly. As we know the FLRC and Lorenz Beacon are not yet incorporated; there are still a few things to work out with the operation of both at present. With any luck it will all get sorted out and bring some extra playability to night flying - navigation and landings.

Cheers and thanks for that link!
