When beginning a mission on the runway and after landing with the BF109-E3: when engine is running with 0% power no engine sound.
When flying: no problem, sound works.
BF109-E4, E7, F... sound works, no problem.

You are correct, and this also happens on the Bf 109-E1, in version 5.032. At low power (Engine RPM 680 or lower) the in-cockpit engine sound fades out completely on e1 and e3 models with manual propeller pitch.
Interestingly, if you go to any outside view then return to your cockpit view, the in-cockpit engine sound is audible as expected and you won't get the bug again during that mission.

With any luck, a benevolent sign may come from Team Fusion.
In single-player mode, more or less all original 1c-Bf109 (E1,E3,E4) are affected. What a shame.
I have notified our sound guy and he will look at this issue.
