Hi folks!
Last week I had a sweet CloD moment in real life.
An important part of our glider training is the navigational training or "NAV-Einweisung" in German. This training prepares you for your first
overland flight in a glider. Only with map, compass and clock you have to find 6 tiny airfields plus a few outlanding opportunities in a 200 km radius around your home base.
As I sat in this little Rotax Falke with the map on my knees, one eye at the compass and the other one outside scaning for landmarks I thought: Oh boy you've spent endless hours doing the same in Cliffs. :-D
I had my NAV training in a Rotax Falke TMG on Wednesday 20th July. It have been the hottest day this summer so far: 39,5 degree Celsius
Another Cliffs-of-Dover-Moment: Just watch my face in the first 20 seconds
